The Story of our site.
It all started with only a few Japanese Idol Videos, and a concept for free trading of these videos. Why Japanese Adult Video (JAV), because JAV offers a type of erotic movie that simply cannot be found in North America. JAV generally consists of the most beautifull asian women, in many different scenarios and fetish play that is so different and unique compared to standard american adult videos. For those of you who are tired of fake breasts, oversized guys, and stories that go no-where, JAV opens the door to a new flavor of adult eroticism only found in Japan. As time went on and the site gained popularity, now over a year later we've grown in to a huge library of some of the most popular Japanese Idols in some of the most exciting videos in Japan. Many of you will be familiar with our featured Idols from pictures found on the net (ie. Bluebird, Westwind, TcN, Royo, Kuni and other great scanners). As the popularity continued to increase and the number of trades and videos aquired became greater, there also became a much greater need for a proper database to keep a track of all the videos. This started another project, our first database driven website. Now we have hundreds of movies, with a over 60 actresses in the library, as well as a robust database driven website, now with a powerfull customized ordering system. Although the page looks much more commerical now, the base is still the same, This is a Trading site, and every video listed on this site is open for trade. Trades are always preffered to sales. Selling was a feature added for those of you who had written in wanting to aquire JAV titles, but had nothing to trade, and it also gave us to excuse/opportunity to customize and write a robust reusable online ordering system.

How does the Ordering System work?
The Ordering system was created in late 1998, as a test project for creating a robust and re-usable ordering system. Currently running on Cold Fusion 4.0 Technology, with a backend database, this site has been coded so that it can stand on it's own offering a user interface close to that of other proffesional ordering systems on the net. Right now, the ordering system is constantly being upgraded to add easier methods for searching, ordering, and checking the status of your orders. Here's a brief overview of how it currently works.

As you navigate through the site, you simply click on the "Add" button to add items to your shopping cart. From your cart you can add and delete items until you are satisfied with your order. Once you are ready to order, you will have to log in. If you don't have a userid for the site yet, you can create one now, if you do, just simply log in with your username and password. Because all of your information is stored securly on our server, you will never need to enter that information in again. Once you have logged into the system, you get a series of confirmation screens which will give you multiple shipping options. Shipping is automatically calculated for you based on your address and the shipping method you choose. Also any promotional discounts, or credit on your account will be taken into consideration before giving you a final total. Once the order is finished, you are given an order tracking number, which you can refer to in any further correspondance with the Trade Emporium. You can now login to the site any time after the order, and check the status of your orders, when payment was received, when your order was shipped and even a postal tracking number, depending on which shipping method was chosen. What is Video CD and why?
Video CD is an mpeg 1 formatted CD-Rom which can hold upto 70 minutes of VHS quality full motion video. For more information on Video CD, how to play it and compatibility click here. Why do we do our trades on VCD? The digital nature of the medium, allows for a perfect duplication and makes for a much better format for trading. When making duplicates on VHS the picture/sound quality gets much worse each copy you make, where as Video CD is always perfect to the original no matter what generation the copy is.
